Finally got to eat here, delicious freshly cooked plant based food at a reasonable price. Staff lovely and very welcoming, I can see me working my way through thier menu. Great that it's open early evening too

I love this place! The food is incredible. Came for the lunch deal- fill your plate for 8. The meal was delicious and I left stuffed! I also got the Pan de Choco, which was unbelievable! Lovely owners too. Go visit! I’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

This is one of the best vegan experiences we've had in Hastings. Mama Geny was in the kitchen, And Sapphire out front was absolutely helpful and navigated us through all the bits of the menu that we didn't necessarily know exactly what were. We pretty much had a selection of everything on the menu and all of it was brilliant flavoursome well-balanced and just really delicious. This is an unpretentious but really authentic food place of choice. Whilst we were there, at least two of the tables had trouble down from London specifically to actively come and eat there. We felt lucky that we were visiting Hastings. The desserts are really delicious and innovative. They do a buffet lunch on a Thursday and Friday for 8 lb which is really great value. You would be sad to miss this. The fact that everything in there is vegan is absolutely a bonus and for those who don't require that in their diet. This is such a great place to bring someone because you won't feel like you're missing out, whether you're a vegetarian or a meat eater. You will be delighted by anything that you have in this restaurant. I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing authentic plant based food, the flavours were spot on. Starters, mains and desserts were all delicious and different to normal restaurant offerings! Friendly team running the restaurant and made us feel very welcome, explaining the dishes and giving recommendations. Wish they were based in the Midlands where we're from! Glad we spotted this on happy cow whilst we're visiting!

Their food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Every single dish was amazing (so much so that we forgot to take pictures for this review until we got the dessert!) Also, it is dog friendly inside, which for us makes a huge difference

The staff are really friendly,polite and welcoming with a smile. The interior is interesting with ground floor bathroom quite mysterious with a lot of things to look at along the way to the toilets. The English breakfast and iced coffee was amazing, good value for money. Came back the next morning and ordered a chicken and a cheese and salami panini which same with side salad and hummus. Good location as it's a few minutes walk away from the Hastings beach. Had a nice time.

Can’t express how much we enjoyed our experience at Mama Geny’s! The food was incredibly fresh and tasty & it felt like eating at someone’s home. So inviting, wonderfully calm atmosphere and Geny & her family were the sweetest people. I would highly recommend & will definitely go back next time we’re in Hastings. Booked Mama Genys to celebrate our 15th anniversary! Absolutely delicious meal and such friendly and attentive service. Full of flavour, colour and texture, and all from plants! We were stuffed so ordered dessert to take away! 100% recommend and looking forward to going back for more!
